Just got my 2006 Z
Hey guys.
I'm based in Brisbane, Australia, and i've been following this forum for about a month prior to getting my Z and this is my first post!
Just got my Z 2 days ago on Friday.
2006 Touring model
37000km
Dark silver / gunmetal (not sure of colour code).
Drives like a beast!

lol... thanks all
Unfortunately I've only managed a 1st and 2nd gear sprint test. I've yet to find a road where speed limits are > 110kmh. I haven't done a hard launch, going easy on my clutch. This is one hell of a monster esp after 4000rpm! I've only pushed it twice since i got it 3 days ago, so still not entirely used to the G's of 300hp. Glad to keep it that way as I don't want to get used to it so soon. Damn its only 11am, i'm in office now (Monday blues) and i want to leave office now just so i can hop in the seat again.
This coming from a guy who has a car history of:
1.6L SOHC Mazda Astina BG (2001 - 2007) probably 50hp at the wheels
1.8L DOHC Proton GTI (2007 - 2008) probably 100hp at the wheels

Sorry mate i'm a male driver.
Thats my gf in the pic.
Been giving her manual lessons on the Z the past couple of nights.
She's mastered the flats but now struggling with the slopes.
The slopes are hard for her, she gets stressed. When the car rolls backwawrds slightly she releases the clutch too fast and the car stalls.
I comfort her with 2 facts:
1) You've been driving an auto for 7 years
2) This isn't the most forgiving manual car when it comes to small mistakes in clutch / accel control
She must have stalled the car like 10 time last night with me in the passenger seat. I feel bad for the car. Oh well
I realize 350-tech.com is, regionally-speaking more of a correct place for me to be, but i feel like i fit better with the crowd here. Plus they don't seem to accept hotmail or gmail addresses.
Anyone here from Australia?
