to be honest im not some stupid little teen that drives around and thinks their the **** cuz they have a nice car. i am grateful for what i get and im not gonna go beat on the car and race it, i know better, ive seen my fair share of crashes and kids killed from racing

well usually, when people are given nice things like that they don't appreciate it as much. I bought my 350 when i was 18 bymyself and i hardly get on it, cause if it breaks guess what? I'm paying to fix it! I have many friends that were given nice cars from there parents and they beat the **** out of them all the time to "show off", so i mean you could be different

My thoughts exactly. The kid knows nothing about driving a stick, let alone a sports car so once he gets the hang of it, he'll think hes the best driver on the streets and so the showing off begins.

You should get your dad to check this forum for all the teens that come on here and the thread they post when they wreck. We don't mean to be immediately judgemental but it's happened so often that we have nothing better to do than assume. On the off chance that you don't crash and injure yourself or others great and congrats but on the very big chance that you do then you can't say we didn't warn you or your old man... Same thing goes for noobs on sportbikes. They'll go onto the forum, "Hey I just passed my MSF and I bought a gixxer or 600rr or R6!" Then one of the older local members will come back on in a week and post the news article about the noob rider who grabbed a fist full of brake and launched himself into the rear of a semi...

PS: I picked my Z up when I was 19 and had/still have a perfect driving record so there is hope out there. It's just very slim...

PSS: My first car was a 1987 Toyota Camrey (woot) and I couldn't drive it crazy because it had a measley 80hp....
