Default New z owner introduction

Hey everyone. I just bought a "new to me" 350Z. Like everyone else I am pretty stoked. It's an 04, standard xm, nav, black on black, 50K mi, new rubber and pretty mint condition.

I do have a question about what you guys are doing RE IPOD connectivity.

Bomber

ETA: actually I am not a "new" Z owner as I owned a 260Z in 1979.

Not sure how this is going to work out. Old School car and old school camera. Had to scan a tiny little picture.

Here is the new "to me" Z. It's a crappy day here so I didn't waste a lot of time trying to get a glamour shot. The lense must have gotten some water on it. Next nice day I'll use the gfriends Digital SLR.

Ok, remove the grill now, or it will ruin your engine.... Secondly, for Ipod connectivity you must purchase an Ipod ready HU.. Simple..

OK help a brother out. How and why will the grill ruin the engine? I'm coming to the conclusion that I need to purchase a new HU. Right nowe I'm using an FM mod. I have to decide if I'd rather a new HU or new wheels.

It was a joke, the grille is highly frowned upon .. Yes you must purchase a ipod ready HU...... HU shouldnt be in any way close to the same price as wheels..

The problem is I can only afford one or the other right now. The HU I was looking at would be $600 installed.

Your welcome,

I suggest you go to Best Buy, and pick a HU because they will give you all the cables and parts you may need.. Should be an easy install..

Thanks for the recommendation on the HU. I was hoping you had one one for wheels.

Welcome.

I would love to do the opposite and pickup a 260z in a few years, your Z was gorgeous.
