New Z Man
Hey all,
My name is jacob i am frm springfield missouri and i just got into the Z scene. the z i accuallu my 5ht car i started with a 94 acura integra GS-R, then a 03 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8, traded that for a 08/ Dodge charger on 22's and then traded the charger for the 03 350Z. I am looking to do alot to the z including a Twin turbo Kit (with a built motor of course) so ne input or suggestions u have for me let me kno looking to learn alot

word of advice, don't get heavy wheels. most 20s will be amazingly heavy. my first set of wheels for the Z were 19s and weighed about 29lbs a piece. it is a noticable difference in performance compared to my 18s that weigh something around 22-23lbs a piece. if you got some higher end 19s you could get them around 18-22lbs.

Flat black rims remind me of when we went to the drag strip and had to remove our hub caps to race. All of the stock steel wheels were painted black and I thought the cars looked horrible. To this day, I don't really care for all black wheels. I think black wheels need at least a bright chrome or polished rim. I have black wheels with a polished rim but am always thinking I should get new chrome or highly polished wheels.
