Default Hey yall im in need of some assistance?

i just registered and ive herd good things about this website. i wish i could post pics of my new 03 350z but i have a dilemma, i just recently had a small accident in which my back right 19' racinghart rim got crunched and bent. this isnt the problem, the main problem is ive come to notice that while sitting on the spare waiting for the rim to get fixed two small joints on the axle have been bending. it doesnt seem serious because of their size and where their located but i would like some comparable prices as to how much its going to cost and the actual severity of the problem. [insert pic here]

i will post pics of exactly what im talking about tomorrow because its night time right now, and yes im a dumbass teenager who was drifting in their new vehicle. im not looking for ridicule just some advice to my problem and maybe some helpful pointers on how to drift because as soon as its back to speed im going to practice even more. so if anyone out there decides to help it would be greatly appreciated and im willing to learn.

if you're going to learn to drift why don't you buy a cheaper car to learn in? you sound like you have financial woes from this minor repair as is.

yeah dude, you have to pay to play..........look up drifting in your area......attend an event a practice event..

most entry fees to those are cheap....40 or so..

and with out pics, we cant help you...but regardless, unless you KNOW whats up, i wouldnt drive or anything until you can be certain you are safe too..

I have been to events in lafayette...some in houston too. check www.dailydrifter.com

your repair is going to be costly. get a quote from multiple sources. we cannot see the problem therefore we can not estimate what needs to be done.

do not drive on the car in the mean time.

yeah I've been waiting for that update too. I imagine he is just telling himself that to feel better about what the repair is going to cost. going to feel like you're getting kicked in the nuts when you find out .. :P

Cheap part, easy to replace. Buy cheap tires, 19' tires must be expensive.

If you want to learn to drift cheap get an old beater pickup and drive on an empty blacktop parking lot when it's icy or rainy. Drifting a Z cost big $$$.

stop wasting space telling me drifting cost money, im asking for help not ridicule or flaming. if you cant help me then please dont post here. im seriously periodically checking this and so far its been a bunch of nonsense. all i want is someone to tell me what those little bars are and an estimate on how much it would cost to fix. im not driving my car anywhere unless i have to because its on a spare so going to a collision center to waste money getting an estimate isnt really what im looking for.

Sorry just trying to help. It's really easy to learn technique in a truck on a slick surface. It's how I learned. 92 Chevy 1500 w/ a 350 on ice. Good luck with the ride man.
