New Z owner here. (sometimes the obvious needs pointing out.)

Really enjoy my new 05 350z minor mods like wheels/tires, and a cold air intake.

My mechanical prowess goes as far as changing oil/tires/brakes... Needless to say i will have a lot of questions on what im doing. i have already read many previous posts and have learned a lot on the direction i wish to take my Z.

will post pics soon, im in the military and on a military pooter so i need a little time.

well its an 05' blue 350z 6 speed. i got it with 56000 miles. bought it for 15,000. and i am no car guy.. im motorcycle guy.. this is my first car in 6 years.

Welp, was going to put up pics for everyone, came onto base the other night and apparently my on base driving privs were suspended... now the z is keeping it fresh in some inpound... hopefully i will be scooping her up today and will post pictures tomorrow.

 

How did you not know this?

 

i got a speeding ticket on base about 6 months ago, went in early and got the points taken off. if your familiar with military crap you get so many points a fiscal year. i wanna say its like 10 or 6 im not really sure. so i went in early, got the points taken off. they told me i was good to go so i diddnt think i had to show up for the court appearance. well they marked me as UA for the court appearance and suspended my on base privs. well last thursday the MP's started using these scanners.. scanned the old ID and what'dya know, im driving around with suspended driving privs. Took me to a holding cell, car towed and had the cdo come bail me out... needless to say it was a bad night and i have a few bad days ahead of me.

 

Ahh, ok. Didn't know that's how it worked on base. I was lucky enough never to get a ticket on base......got a $hit ton off base though, lol.

 

i am stationed at 29 palms, ca. base is pretty much the only place i can get a ticket cause its a barren wasteland everywhere else. ill get pics up asap, ill prolly have to give her a bath first. The desert isnt to friendly on the ole paint.
