Default Hello all you Z lovers and owners UPDATE (wheels here)

Hey guys...FNG here.

Just got my '04 350Z Enthusiast (Chrome Silver) two days ago. I absolutely love it!!! It's my new DD so no perf. mods right now but I am gonna eventually get some wheels, lower it, and do a tint job.

(Reason for it being my DD is I have a '69 Mustang that eats way more gas than the Z and can't afford two gas guzzlers)

Absolutely love the site!

Look forward to posting quite a bit actually.

Currently I'm a Federal Correctional Officer looking to get on w/ the Air Marshals or US Marshals.

Guns and cars are my hobbies...I really need to find some cheaper hobbies. I own AR's, AK's, and I'm a 1911 guy, sorry Glock lovers

Anyways, plz excuse the pics, all I had was my cell phone while at the train station waiting to go into Chicago for work.

And one of my '69 Stang...

Thanks Calin!

I'm already in love w/ it. 'Ol Betsy (the Stang) is gonna be sad when some of her mod money to lower her and put some new DR's on the rears is going towards the Z. Need to figure out a name for her also.

The Stang is about 9 years in the making....you'd die if you saw what she used to look like and what we did to get her where she is today haha. Lots of countless frustrating hours.

ETA: BTW Guys...gimme a day or two and I'll pony up the funds to help support the site.

ETA2: Where can I find some '07 style 5 spoke wheels for my Z? I love them and don't have the cash to put down for Volks, Works, or the likes. Then again...maybe I do lol. Damn there are so many things I wanna do to this car already!

Ya I'm sure fixing up that stang wasn't cheap, but it came out very nice. As for the 07 style stock wheels, search in the for sale section on this forum, there should be quite a few for sale. Plenty of people sell theirs after buying after market wheels

Well I got my wheels...the back half anyways. 19X9.5 ASA JH8 +35 and the fronts (19X8.5) should be here today or tomorrow. Got them from the Tire Rack for $600 shipped on closeout :P

Also have 15mm for the front and 20 for the rear Eibach spacers coming. After that I'm going w/ a new suspension setup.

Also ordered some Kuhmo Ecsta's 255/35/19 and 275/35/19.

It's coming along nicely haha.

Here's a few pics and one from NFS Pro Street of how I want my car to look..maybe not this slammed though.

Thanks guys.

Bigcloud, if you need any suggestions or help let me know. After 10 years I've learned quite a bit about restoring/modding classic stangs and if I had known what I know now while doing the project...I would have done things completely different. Then again a lot of what I know now, wasn't available back then.

Honestly the next thing for the stang are some 9.5 rears and some suspension w/ a drop. After that she should be done til I brave into the single turbo level for it. Blow thru carb, AA IC, 5" down pipe, etc. looking for 500 streetable hp out of the stang. :P But that'll be awhile.

Both are beautiful cars!

Does the "556" mean 5.56mm?

Thanks Dave.

And yep...5.56

Try to 3 gun when I can and have been around the AR/AK world a bit. It's my other hobby....two too many expensive hobbies.

Hope no one minds...here's a few pics...
