Default Just bought a '53 350z

Just bought myself a 53 350z, in grey. I don't know too much about them so I thought here would be the best place for help! MY previous cars have been a 2001 190 Celica and my first car was a 1987 Mr2, I've only been driving for 2 years and wanted a 350z for ages

Could you better explain this system? I'm genuinely curious as to how it works.

Also, welcome to MY350Z.COM. Don't let some of these guys discourage you from visiting our boards often. You'll grow to tolerate them soon enough.

Number plates in the Uk now work like this a '53' plate would be say XY53 ABC the XY is the code for where in the UK the car was registered, the 53 is september 2003 and the ABC is random. And a January 2003 car would be XY03 ABC

+1 That's what I was wondering about. Technically, if Jan = 0, then Sep should = 8, or at least that seem to be our logic.

I dunno, possibly because a 5 is half of 10? I don't think it makes sense and I think it's a bit of a stupid system, don't know what they're going to do this year with it being 2010

Based on that system, do cars over there keep the same license plate regardless of the owner?
