Default New SilvZ!

I had no idea what to put in the title to set myself apart =D thought it was kind of clever no? Anyways, just purchased the first car under my name. I'm 19 years old. yeah yeah, I am paying for this all myself however. Previously drove an '05 Jetta GLI that my dad had leased when he worked at a VW/Nissan dealership and he bought after that. I took on the payment after the lease when I turned 16 and it was a good first car but I've always loved the 350Z. So decided to put it on the market and I found a 2004 Performance Model Silver Z. 30600 miles when I got my dad (who lives in Cali) to pick it up from the owner after we got my loan approved. Flew out 2 weeks later picked it up and drove it out to Utah. Now 31900 miles on it from that drive (I died a little inside putting that on it in basically 1 day haha.) Will be posting picture as soon as it clears up here. I got it a week and a half ago and go figure once I got back it starts to snow like mad again.. Got tests this week for my classes and thursday I should be able to clean it up and get pictures posted! =D

My bad then everyone I've seen has always been like "PICS OR WORTHLESS" lol. Anyways I'm currently only really planning on cosmetic changes (I don't know enough about engine etc. atm to feel comfortable doing that stuff) Looking into getting a small sproiler. I just want to keep the oiginality of the look still. Also some JDM LED Tail lights. or IPCW not sure.. they both are nice looking imo. Also there was a scratch above the nissan logo on the back, it's like someone keyed it but not as bad as it COULD have been. Anyone have any recommendations on how to get that fixed? Like would one of those whipe away products do the trick or would you guys recommend professional help?

Edit: if a pic of that scratch would be helpful I'll do that for ya then =P

Welcome!
Take it to a bodyshop and ask if it can be buffed out. If not, have it fixed correctly. The miracle products usually perform the same miracle. They magically make your wallet lighter.

No kidding, a lot to take in. I'm planning on taking things easy with it and just take care of what I have for now with it minus the tail light and a small sproiler that comes stock on most models. But other than that I'll do my research and have a ways ahead of me before I feel comfortable actually doing stuff to mine. It is my only car once that Jetta sells so it's important I don't mess it up with some simple mod haha.
