Default Noob that went From 01 Celica GTS To 05 350z

hello, i sold my 01 celica gts (turbocharged) and brought a 2005 350z (base model). All i can say is that it pulls a lot harder than my celica. Hope to see some of you guys at meets and i hope i can learn more about my z from this forum. most likely i will just do intake, exhaust (recently my g/f just brought me a nismo exhaust with y-pipe as a b-day gift). later down the road i'll upgrade my wheels and buy teins coilovers.

here are pics of my celica

and here is the z (i assume you guys know what a stock z looks like so dun really need that many pics of it )

lol nah, besides i brought the celica looking like that (i always hated those types of rims)

to me i think ppl should spend at least 1500-3000 on rims for a 350z, if they can't then they shouldn't really be buying a z. i have never seen a z with crappy and cheap rims yet. i'm looking to buy either ssr or works because so many ppl have their z with volks

I never though 35hp really felt that much different... was the torque really low on the celica? Its a shame you dont have the HR motor...now your stuck with the DE ...as I am.

oh now i need a research the difference between the hr and de motor lol. torque was really low on the celica. its doesn't start pulling until you boost kicks in which was around 3500, but even then it still didn't feel fast. i gave up on the celica after it lost against a stock s2000. thats when i realized i needed a rwd car lol

You'll fit in here. I also went from a Celica GTS (2000) to a Z. Welcome.

Not bad. Respectable for a 2ZZ Celica.

The Celica was rated at 180hp @ the flywheel. 215hp at the wheels is quite an improvement for a car weighing in at 2500lbs.

Wow. That is fantastic!
I am actually in the process of ridding myself of the Celi as well. I am going to be trading up soon to.

Congrats on the Z, and I hope to join the Z's soon!

Welcome man, definitely an upgrade but one quick thing...

Actually no the body kit isnt stock and the light blue fog lights arent either. Also the wing definitely not stock that I'm aware of unless there was some trim that I didnt know about. Also those little fins or whatever you want to call them on the right and left front bummer... i.e. rice

No offence. Honestly I even think the celica looks kind of rice even stock...
