Whats up everyone? I have always wanted a Z. Probably just like everyone else here. I have been into DSM's for a while now and trying to get out. Tired of wasting the money in them and always breaking. I am looking for an 03-04 due to limited budget. Really can't spend over $11k. Will be making payments of course so trying to sell my DSM first so the payments will be significantly less.

I am interested in the touring model of the track model. Touring model seems to be the majority of what everyone has. It is nice with the leather and bose. I really like the track for the brembos and the wheels. Anybody else have any pros or cons?

I live near Nashville, TN and search craigslist almost hourly for a hot deal to pop up. If anyone can help me out that would be awesome! Thanks

an 03 with medium amount of miles should be obtainable at 9k.

 

what would you consider medium amount of miles? Only ones I have seen for 9k are around 120k. I want one with around 70k-80k. There is a track model for sell at a local dealership for $11.5k. I have never bought from a dealership before so I'm not sure how much you can haggle with them. It is silver too. I really don't want a silver one because it seems like I see those everywhere. I am just trying not to settle this time. I have a hard time being patient.

Either way, just get a Z and you won't regret it. I had an '04 Base Z and a '97 GS-T Eclipse at the same time at one point, and there was no comparison. I would look for an Enthusiast model as they have LSD and cruise control.

No big deal. You have 90 days to get a 350Z or this thread will be deleted.

 

BTW more that half of all 350Zs are silver. So that will limit your choices. Be patient. Get the color that you want.

 

I also found a black 03 local with a cf hood, greddy exhaust, intake, kinetix intake manifold and some nice black 19's with a red life. Touring model with 53k miles. Nismo front. He said I can have it for $12k. I really want it but need to get a little bit more cash.

 

^^ That car has low miles for an 03. I personally prefer stock cars when buying used, but that particular one seems to be modded tastefully.

 

I usually only buy stock cars too. It also has tein coilovers. What would you say is the average mileage for an 03?
