Default New Z owner (Traded 2010 SS Camaro)

Just traded in my 2010 Camaro for a 350Z so I could lower my payments. I'm glad I did. I actually wish I had bought a 350z years ago. I've always loved the looks, specs, and aftermarket options for these badboys, but it wasn't until I got one that I truly appreciated its performance. It also helps that last weekend I went to Western NC and got to drive around the Smoky Mountain roads. The camaro wins in a straight line, but doesn't handle anywhere near my Z.

Looking forward to modding now

I went the other way around. the camaro definitely feels heavier in the turns. I think you will miss the low end torque and how much the car can pull in the higher speeds, but you'll appreciate the improved visibility, handling and looks of the car

Congrats on the new ride...I traded an 06 GTO in on mine. The handling is much better, but I still go through fits of torque withdrawal from time to time.

Congratulations! I recently test drove a Camaro SS and the new Mustang 5.0. Long story short, Camaro was horrible, and this comes difficult for me to say but the Mustang was amazing!

good performing car for sure .. but don't set your expectations for traction or interior quality too high.

Traction can be solved, but is the interior in those garbage?

the build quality is pretty good. my complaint is that if you sat in one then went and sat in a fusion or similar, you wouldn't notice many differences. the interior feels very bland and boring. nothing about it feels like climbing into a sportscar, the seats don't grab you at all etc.

Ya that blows.. My thoughts are that Ford is now offering a 100hp more, and cant charge the customer more really because of it's competition. Probably saving that money in other areas because most people will just want the car cuz of it's looks and performance.

If you really think about the hp difference it's alot!!! Imagine if the Z all the sudden had 400hp!!!! You think it would cost the same? Maybe if they can work it out over the rest of the car to save money right?

Am I high or what?

the interiors on the domestics seem no worse than the interiors in the 350's.

OP, you may officially cut your mullet off now.
