Default Switched from Euro to Import

Hey all,

I just bought a new 2008 350Z (Base) and i thought i'd introduce myself. For the better part of the last decade, i've been riding around in a '01 GTI VR6, which was so unbelievably hard to say good bye to. We've been through a lot (including a couple accidents) and overall the car was amazing.

However, being a VW with over 120k miles on it, i knew it was time to trade it in for something new. Something RWD... and something that would give me the "mod bug" once again.

Once of the things I loved about the vw was the community surrounding it. Everyone was very supportive and friendly, and the phrases 'less is more' and 'OEM+' were codes that we lived by. I hope to take what I learned from the euro side, along with some things i'm sure to pick up from the veterans here, and truly transform my car into something i can call uniquely my own.

Here are some pics (sorry for cell phone picture quality)

Welcome to the boards man...

The Z community can serve up some tough love sometimes, but at the end of the day, its YOUR car that you are driving and

HaterZ gonna Hate

Welcome again, get that mod bug and put it to use!!

Doubt if you will find this philosophy around here. We stick more crap on a 350Z than you would believe.

Welcome.

I also switched from 100K+ miles German to the Z. In my case a SL class Mercedes. Thing was becoming a maintenance nightmare.
