Exclamation new to the Z

ok so first car is a 2008 350z, love the car to death. I need some help on the mod situation. I wanna do AEM intakes and something to the exhaust but want to keep stock sound. I have seen muffler delete, test pipes, and other things but i really like the muffler delete but i need the car to pass inspection what is my best bet. please help
