Hello all, I purchased my 2007 Z33 Grand Touring this past Monday 2/7/2011. To my surprise, there are a million and one new Z owners on here everyday, so I'll keep this somewhat simple, with a touch of sugar and pictures.
My first car was a 1990 S13 hatchback, like every other kid on the block. Had it for 2 years, and decided to abandon the project in pursuit for a Z33. Sold the S13 about 3 weeks ago. Here are some pictures:

Nothing special obviously.
I did a ton of research before I decided to pull the trigger. After about 2 months worth of searching for the right one, I stumbled upon two Z33's in particular that were somewhat local, and decided to go forth and gather my money together.
Unfortunately or fortunately, the one i preferred had sold the day before I was supposed to go see it. It was a White 2008 Nismo 350z with 30k miles for $23k.. However, the stock Nismo aero had been painted all white to match the car... Looked pretty ugly to me, but nonetheless a good deal.
Fortunately though, my second option was still there, so the following day I drove to Bellevue WA from Vancouver WA to see the car. The moment I first laid eyes on her was magical!... I saw nothing but dirt, imprints and lines from fingers running along the surface of the car, and bird crap on the hood if you will.. Mind you, that was from a Nissan dealership with an enclosed parking structure. Being employed at a car dealership myself, I was pretty disgusted. On I go, shaking the sales/internet manager Matt's hand. My first instinct was to pop the hood. I checked the dipstick and it was a bit white.. Odd right? So i kept checking and checking, and the more I checked the more the white bits went away. Hmmm.. interesting enough. TEST DRIVE TIME. Got back, checked the oil again, and the white bits were gone. Meh, even if it was a bad head gasket, or water in the motor, I would have a warranty anyways.
To keep it short, the car was priced at $21,991. After much negotiation, I managed to lower the price to 20k flat, excluding tax and fees.
Put 8 grand down, signed a bunch of papers, shook hands again, and drove off..
Don't mind the 3 minute photo shoot I took during work. I had limited time, and only a point and shoot Canon Powershot S95 as my gadget.
Without further ado,

Tada! 2007 Grand Touring with Nav and yada yada yada. 29k miles and still driving strong.
Overall, this has to be my best ever purchase so far. The car handles amazing, and the VQ35HR definitely lives up to the praises I hear from it. I'm blown away how smooth and fast it picks up. Very comparable to the E46 M3 my cousin had.
Plans for the future? Well, nothing too much. KW or Bilstein coilovers and supporting arms and links, Varsstoen LM mesh 19x9.5 19x10.5 +0 all around, motordyne tdx2, or invidia gemini depeding on the deal I get, and some more stuff such as a subtle rear diffuser, front lip, and sides.
That is all for now, and thanks for looking! I look forward to learning more about the Z, as well as get to know more about this community.
