Default New 05 Z From NY!

Hey guys, I just recently acquired an '05 Silverstone 350Z.

Here's thy pix before I get flamed:

I'm a pretty new and young owner. The car's got 79k miles on it already previously owned by some chick from Jersey (>.>) This car's my second vehicle but my first stick car. I'm still pretty nub and stall here and there so I apologize in advance if I stall infront of you at an intersection

I'll be catching the mod bug in the next few years but will remain stock for the time being. P.S. the Nismo spoiler wasn't my choice, it looks tacky as hell I know and the dude who installed it was a nub cause it's so shittily glued on.

Nice car, wing doesn't look too bad. Just a little out of place without any other body work. Good luck keeping it stock for a couple years

Congrats on the Z. If your from the 5 boros, watch for moon-sized craters. Hopefully all maintanece is up to date. If you are unsure, I would do all the fluids first.

Yup it's all good, she had a night at the shop where the spark plugs, hatch shocks, brake pads and rotors and timing belt were all replaced.

Fluids are all good, just got an oil change two days ago.

I'm also from Brooklyn and yeah... moon craters. I already got some scrapping action going into a 711. I guess that's evidence enough that what I bought was a sports car.

Yeah they were just taken today. I'm currently upstate near the border to Canada so most of the snow is still here.

Even in NYC though the snow is still there. Took my road trip from home to school today.

OP, nice 05... I would take some time to find a cure for the cancer growing around your wing.

Is that caulking?

BK stand up. When you get the opportunity, take the Z up to Bear Mountain and enjoy. Early in the week is best since there's light jake presence and low tourist traffic.

keep an eye on your oil level for a while to make sure you dont have any oil consumption issues that 05's are known for..

Haha thanks, it actually wasn't the timing belt as it does have a chain like you said.

What was replaced was the a/c belt.
