Default Not a Z owner, but new here

Hi everyone,

My name is Micah (yes I'm a guy so no leg humping) and I am new to your community. I am not a Z owner but I am a fan of them. A good friend of mine just picked up a 2003 350z and I have been helping him get it back up to the quality that it should be in. The previous owner didn't take the best care of the car so it has a few areas that need to be shown some TLC. So I have been helping him with that. I have also driven his car and it is quite different from what I am used to. I am the owner of a 2006 Subaru WRX STi and a 2002 WRX wagon as well. So I am used to having a turbo and AWD. But I have to say that I do enjoy twisty roads in my friends RWD 350z. I look forwrd to learning a bit about these cars so that I can help him imporve his car and do some mods in the future.

I know this isn't NASIOC but I figure I'll show my cars anyways...lol

I haven't really met any of the OK guys yet. But I'm sure I will over time. I've talked to a few at some autoX events though.

And mttz23, I wouldn't mind having a Z one day. But I'd like to wait until I can afford both my Subarus and a Z.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

I believe the first project I'll be helping my friend with is painting his door handles. I found a thread on here with some good information, but does anyone who has done this have any advice or tips to make the process go as smooth as possible? Any help is greatly appreciated.
