No problem. Congrats on the Z and welcome , love the color. Although the Z is an upgrade im sure you agree that the clutch pedal and engagement feel was a lot better on the GTS than the Zs lol , theres a way to improve the pivot point if youre ballzy enough to cut and weld a piece

Hey guys. I finally got my 350z. Its a 2006. Silver, although I don't like the color so ill have it painted in the near future. I was driving a Celica 2001 GTS, traded it in for the Z.
So here is my question.
When driving at high RPM's with my Celica when i shifted i'd have to shift as fast as i could to properly shift into the next gear without letting the RPM's fall to low.
Now on the Z its completely different. When i shift i have to wait for the RPM's to drop because as soon as i clutch in it holds the RPM's for about a second then drops. I can still rev match this with no problem and have a very clean shift but it seems like wasted time in between shifts.
So finally to the questions. When you guys shift do you wait for the RPM's to drop so you can properly rev match for a very clean shift or do you shift as fast as you can? Shifting as fast as you can seems like it would burn out your clutch very quickly.

Haha of course. what i mean by "babying it" is i don't max it out at every stop i come to. Had a friend who had an RSX and at EVERY SINGLE STOP he would max that thing out no matter what. He ended up driving that car into the ground within a year or so. He was so surprised..
