Default Member since 2006, but FINALLY got my Z!

Hey guys,

Picked up my 2007 HR Enthusiast edition recently. Original owner and all maintenance records on hand. I'm definitely no stranger to the VQ35 though. I did have an 03 6mt Maxima and with the bolt on mods I did (headers, catback, tein coilovers, Spec stage 3 clutch, Fidanza flywheel, intake), the car definitely moved pretty nice. Then I realized dumping that kind of money into a FWD car was not too smart

I wanted a Z even before the maxima (hence my signup date), but better late than never! I'm definitely big on the search function (coming from maxima.org, I better be ). Already ordered an INGS front replica lip, and then I'm looking at the d-spec/s-tech combo. Last thing I'll do is a JWT clutch/flywheel combo. The nice thing is that it already has a NISMO catback.

EDIT (Sunday August 14): I got my white LED's for the license plate from v-leds.com and installed them. DAMN these thing's light up the road behind the car! Also installed is the Mangowalk stubby antenna.

add a stubby antenna, spacers and bumper tuck to your list and you'll be pretty well off for a stock-ish Z congrats, I hope you enjoy the car as much as I do mine!

thanks everyone! Mileage is 60k, but I'll only be averaging around 8k/year. I actually ordered a Mangowalk stubby antenna on ebay a few days ago, so that should be here soon. Spacers is on the list too when I do my brakes.

Nice, but being as experienced as you say you are, those mods are weak.

I love it. It's not overly loud, yet not stock-ish at the same time.

The 02-03 Maxima will always be my favorite generation. Was your's an auto or stick?

Perhaps, but I never said I was going to go all out with this. Then again, plans change when you have a car. When I first got it I swore I was going to keep it stock, and now I already have parts in the mail .

Definitely! I want to do something unique that hasn't been done before though.

Once again, thanks for the feedback guys!

Actually I'd say he got it right. Stopping power is damn important. Tyres, brakes, suspension, all expensive but make a masssssive difference!
