Well last summer I bought a prior salvage Daytona Blue 04 Touring with 23,000 miles

i've spent the last year collecting parts & it's finally time to finish it - (still need a passenger airbag cover, engine cover, tpms and a clutch) but those are to come soon.

i'll probably be asking some clutch questions in the near future, i was looking through prior threads and it looks like there's some good info out there!

Also, if your looking for more parts, definitely check out the private classifieds. There's some really good stuff there and usually its pretty inexpensive compared to other places!

 

We'd definitely like to see pics! Also have a look at Trey's thread a few up, he's done similar, bringing a damaged one back to life.

Thanks for all the interest! Im beginning teardown on Friday/Saturday & will make sure to get a before shot & document progress.

The prior owner had the car back on the road, but it seemed like it was pieced together with a little bit of everything. Certainly not a lot of evidence of pride in ownership.
Ill be curious to see how everything looks after the sheet metal is off the front.

Either way I think I got a lot of car for the amount paid.
