Default Picking up my new Z next week!

Hello all, picking up my new 2008 Carbon Silver 350z Enthusiast next week Wednesday. I'm super excited as this will be my first "new" car in about 8 years. No stranger to Nissan though, as I've owned a number of 240sx's.

My previous car. RIP

Missouri, it's a bit of a trek but price is much nicer than anything I've found locally.

I made the mistake of letting someone else drive it. We got cut off on the highway, driver lost control slammed into a guard rail at 75mph bounced off, spun, smashed the rear into the guard rail again, spun one more time and ended up in a ditch. I got a first hand view of the "action" in the passenger seat. Really crappy day, but an accident nonetheless. Luckily neither of us were injured aside from a bruised thumb and a bump on the head. I was able to part this car out and buy my Z in cash so that was a relief too. The parts list was top notch, car might not have looked like much but everything was touched inside and out. Full spl parts / spc suspension, kw clubsport coilovers, built SR20, r33 skyline / S15 silvia interior goodies, and way more than I can think of or write right now. I'm sad the 240 died to get a Z but I'm also looking forward to owning a "new, stock" car that I can tastefully modify.

Here are some shots of the automobile gore.

Night of the crash:

The damage the next day in the daylight: (Front bumper and pieces of rear bumper were found 50 feet away!)

After virtually ever piece was parted out.

Lol, I think a down payment and a flight to Missouri count for something. I'll be sure to post a picture of my hand with the keys in it on Wednesday night.

Picked the car up last Wednesday, and got it home on Thursday night. Friday I slept all day. Saturday full detail consisting of, wash, clay, wax, vacuum, glass cleaning, de-odorizing. (Not that it smelled bad to begin with). Sunday rest!

Pics of car in my possession for the naysayers.

Pictures with this crappy Iphone really do this car no justice!
