First comes the tint, HID's, shorty antenna, and probably exhaust then sometime down the road some coilovers. Any recommendation on a HID brand?

Welcome!
Clean lookin Z!

Hey,a friend &Z owner I know has the same year/color as your car.He did a quick(rather cheap)mod to the OEM wheels.Gave the rims a few coats of Dupli Color "Shadow"(its a kit),it really updated the wheels into a hyber-black look. Most of the auto stores handle
this kit. A easy upgrade until maybe you go for some aftermarket wheels.

I was thinking of doing something like that, you have any pics of his car?

No pictures...sorry.I had the same 17's on my Z when I first bought it.
Wish the "shadow" kit was available then.I can tell you, makes the wheels look 100% better. If you get the "shadow" kit, make sure you do it right.
Take the wheels off one side of the car and do that side, unless you have access to jack it up to get off all 4 at one time.Clean the wheels well&mask the rims.Be good to do all 4 at one time if you can as the way this paint works is you add coats
depending how dark you want to shade the silver. It dries pretty quick between coats. When you get to the right shade, spray the clearcoat sealer
over the wheels.Thats it...looks great.
I think the "Shadow" kit sells for less than 20 bucks.

The stock lights don't seem to bright tho, I like the look of aftermarket HID's. Unless it's the same and I'm just imagining stuff.

I wish I could get the new model headlight, but I can't justify the $750 for them

I was under the impression that it comes with HIDs also. I have an '03 enthusiast and it has HIDs, though the high beams are halogen.
