My name is David, and I came from g35driver.com, former 2005 BS G35 Coupe owner, but sadly, this Monday I got into an accident, which resulted in the total loss of my G, I was planning on getting a new G, but just didn't feel right getting another one..so now after going through some threads, I'm on the lookout for a 07 350z preferably in carbon silver (if thats the correct word for the color) or any dark silver Z. My budget is 18k, money that I got from my insurance. Below are some attached pics of the incident, and what it used to be. Hopefully this forum can help me learn more about my future Z like g35driver taught me about my G. Thanks!

 

how'd you **** up your car?

 

Was driving 65, when someone in front of me slowly braked, i slowly braked to like 55, when all of a sudden he slammed his brakes, i slammed my brakes, and a truck behind me (going speed limit 60ish assuming) hit me from behind me and basically pushed my front under the rear of the car in front of me

 

Was this on the 57 fwy..just guessing what freeway since you go to CSUF.

 

Lol no, I was heading towards the 57, but the accident occurred on the 60E before Hacienda Blvd.

 

who got ticketed?

 

b!tch part is, no one got ticketed, CHP did not even ask us for the story or what happened, they just pulled us aside to obtain our information and that was it.

Not a great difference between the G35 and 350Z. Same motors. Silver is the most popular 350Z color. Plenty for sale. You may want to expand your model year choice.

Sorry to hear about your G! I really don’t think your provider gave you a good deal btw. With my admittedly limited knowledge about the details of your car, I feel like they should have given you more. I’ve experienced it first hand, my last provider tried to give me a ridiculously low amount and I eventually filed an appeal with the State Insurance commissioner and started looking for online car insurance quotes with another company. My appeal went through and I got a much better quote. So I got the amount I wanted and pay a fraction of the cost in premiums.

 

The Z is better anyhow, hope you get it all straightened out and find a sweet Z
