Newbie Needs Help
Hey there, I just bought my first 350z and love it. These things are quick with great response time. I never had a car hug the road the way this one does. I have an '04 base model with a 6 speed, grey/silver color, 18" alloys (that im thinking about powder coating black). Anyway my driver window has gotten stuck down (great way to start our relationship) and I want to replace the WINDOW MOTOR ONLY. Where can I get it cheap and fast... I live in the bay and Im freezing. Im about to

thanks for the replies. I actually went to the dealership in pure desperation and ended up paying $210 which is 20% off retail price. I got it in and the window goes up but now I have two more problems. 1) when I press the button to allow the newly replaced motor to go up automatically it goes up, but when it reaches the top it comes back down about 20% and then stops there. 2) both windows down crack when the door opens and I almost found out the hard way. Im thinking I need to reset them but am not sure. Called the dealership and the head mechanic played dumb as if he never heard of the problem

As you have found out 350Z window operation can be hell. There are several complete How to replace window motor? threads here include reset procedures.[/QUOTE]
