new to the Z
hey everyone so i wanted to finally introduce us...ive been lurking around the forum a couple of weeks now...and i just picked up my 2008 pikes peak white pearl grand touring 350Z 6spd on friday night...i love the car so much already...and looking forward to meeting new people and going to the track a few times would be fun too..was even more inspired when i seen some Z's at thunderhill yesterday running some pretty good runs on the track....would like to go to more meets up here in northern cali....and no im not 17 and i dont even live in the same state as my parents...lol..i got some pics up in my album if you wish to see my Z

no thats not my datsun..but i used to drive around in one when i was younger a 1971 datsun 280Z 5spd......seen this one as i was passing thru santa cruz and thought it be cool to park behind it and do a 'photo shoot'...lol.....
and no wont trade the wheels...one of the reasons i jumped on this particular Z was for the wheel and brake setup...major plus i feel...

yep thanks for that....love the stopping power...now only if i can get the rears to stop squealing so loud??...gonna try a quick fix later today tho...hoping its just brake dust or something like that and i can spray some brake cleaner n hopefully does the job...

Welcome to the forum, great looking PPW. Good to hear you know about the lineage of the 350. So many don't. Bit of a funny angle of that pic, is it a 240 or 260z? Looks a bit more 260, without getting a good look at it.

thanks for the compliment....got asked if it was a porsche yesterday....i laughed as i looked at my nissan emblems on the trunk of my car........and i think it was a datsun 280Z...i think?....and yes love the Z heritage and history....had good times growing up with a neighbor who had a 300zx tt
