Default Greetings!

Hey everyone, the name is Scott. I don't own a 350z as of yet, but in the next yr or two I plan on buying my first one. I would like some input from the group as far as what 350z you all would recommend and why?

I am leaning towards buying a 2003-2006 Nissan 350z in Daytona Blue (Touring, Track, or Enthusiast) Model. I would prefer one that comes w/ duel intakes, leather seats and the Brembo brakes and has had the least amount of recalls/issues. From talking w/ other people I know that have or had 350z's they have told me to get one that has LSD and TCS. I was also told to go w/ an 03-06 due to these years having better lower end torque and less curb weight compared to the newer models. I also heard that some models have been prone to issues, such as: Oil Leaks, Suspension Issues, Braking Issues..etc, is any of this true or false or what to watch out for?

Any knowledgeable feedback anyone can offer to me would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

Welcome. If you won't be buying for a year or two, you have plenty of time to search and find a wealth of information. Start at the top 100 ?'s thread in the general forum. Every model will have its problems, find out about them all and decide which year is right for you.

Wow!Buying in the "next year or two"...You really like to pre-plan.
Suggest you wait maybe when you get a bit closer to purchase.Say,like 6 months prior.
Hell, you may change your mind in the next 2 years!
This forum offers a wealth of information.Just do a search on the apticular areas that concern you.
Good luck!

I have had my heart set on buying one since day one when they came out, but I didn't have the cash flow at that time to buy one. Now that my current vehicle is almost paid off and income taxes will be coming back very soon, I can plan out what I am looking for and get other people opinions.

Sorry wrong forum. This is where new 350Z owners post photos of their car. And we say “Congratulations!”

Welcome to the forum. By then if you get an older one will be 10 years old, so any gremlins should have been found by then.
