Default New HR owner in SC

Hello All!

My name is Mike, i'm 22.. been around the forum for a bit now, checking things out but have finally decided to make a "New" Persons thread LOL.

Bought my 100% stock 2007 350z-HR from my dealership I work at here in South Carolina. I am their head detailer and have recently been promoted.. now the head detailer for them for two of their stores. Anyway, got the car with 10,072 miles on it in mint condition except the paint. Needed so much correction like a lot of people's Z's on here.. not talking ish, just something you can see easily when you do it every day :-). They were asking 26k for it, got it for 19k.

It is still stock except the s2000 antenna, 20% tint and Tommy Kaira Z badge I got from our member, JUN, on here. Only had the car since October, LOVE it, raced plenty of people and very happy with the outcomes. Get good gas mileage and the car turns heads. Already put 11k miles on it and only run Royal Purple Synthetic Motor Oil. Sitting at 21,xxx miles now. Driving and Cars in general have been an extreme passion of mine as is paint and SOME body shop work since I was 14-15 still growing up.. Now all this stuff feels natural.. kinda cool. I feel blessed, being around cars since I was little.. learning to heel-toe when I was 15-16, going to Roebling Road and CMP for road course racing and those many, many, many, many, MANY hours AND tires AND brakes AND money spent at AutoX courses and Road Courses around the southeast. ALL SO WORTH IT.

So yeah, my first BIG purchase in a car - a newer car.
-I miss my turbo cars, built cars.. race cars.
But this Z will soon be in that category!

But Nissan KILLED IT when they made the vq35hr.. that's why I jumped on the deal when my Z was in our Used Car Lot. I had heard about the new HR motor but never drove one. Drove the older 350z with the DE motors..... SOO SLOW. TOOO SLOW.. HATED it.

But the HR motor and HR 350z was one for the keep.

Enough of the talk - here are the pics.

can post more if you all would want me to..

Many plans are in store for this Z ;-D
Will keep you all posted. Should be fun to see this HR motor built or boosted in the future!

until then!

-mike
