Hello Everyone...

I wanted to upgrade my 350Z with right now a budget of 15,000. I went to a shop and the owner told me not to upgrade but to swap the engine. He wants me to put an LS2 engine. He said the 350z engine has weak pistons and rods and is not going to run like a want too.

I need some feed back of what should I do????

 

Sell it and buy something else, like an Evo.

Sounds like the shop either just wants you to spend more money or doesn't know anything about Vq's and don't want to deal with one.

What are your goals?

My Goals for the car is to not only look sick but I don't want to be get easily beat on the streets. My friend that I haven't race has a Dodge Charger R/T and I specially don't want to get beat by him.

I'm not sure if 450 HP should be enough and if it is what I should change on the car.

In another words I don't want to look fast and be slow, if is better to buy another car I would. Don't want to blow 15 grand for nothing.

 

^^^You wanna dump 15k into your car just to prove your car isn't slow? If you're serious 15k should do it, not sure if its enough for exterior and performance though?

post pics of where your car is at right now...I recommend researching lots, cause with 15k and the right shop paired with buying smartly/used you can have a beast of a car!
