Is the ride usually this stiff? Or the springs are bad? It only has 35k miles so I can't imagine its the springs. Its a lovey car though!

The glove box is behind the passenger seat, same place as in the coupe model. This is a sports car after all, the stiff ride is a feature and selling point, aka taut handling. Stop being such a girly-man; the 07 roadster was softened up quit a bit in ride calibration compared to my manly 04 roadster.

It's a sports car for a reason. Get used to it.

If you are looking for a soft ride, a sports car isn't for you. Maybe you should consider getting a VW Cabrio.

If you want a soft ride, the Z is not for you.

i'm guessing you didn't bother getting to know and looking around the car before you bought it?

Stiff ride?What did you expect?
Anyway, how many lbs. air in your tires(needs 35).
How old/what brand of tires on the car?
How much tread is left?Seems with 35K,new tires are on the
car awhile ago...
These could be factors.

Springs may be broken. Have a mechanic take a look. Dampers leaking?

Ok, on second reflection I was being kind of a b!tch. It’s possible a previous owner changed out the shocks for coilovers, or maybe lowered the car using ghetto methods etc. Look underneath for any telltale signs (parts with bright day-glo colors). Also compare your z to others to see if it sits lower (less gap between fender and tire).

You could always post pictures here, or best of all have a mechanic familiar with Zs look it over.

welcome and congrats, as stated glove box is behind the passenger seat, and the 350z is a sport car, so it will have a "stiff" ride
