performance of fairlady?
I know where the fairlady name came from and the history of it but what does that mean my car is equipped with? I was told my car was the performance package when I bought it, but it has the fairlady emblem on it... Are there any differences with it being a fairlady or is that the title they gave the performance models?

But seriously show us some pictures of your car and some more details. It may be a track model with brembo brakes & lighter rays wheels.

In a nutshell, they are not called Fairlady in the US. Unless your car is a right hand drive import, it is not a Fairlady, it is a 350Z. Some ricers decide to change the emblem here in the US to look cool, just like overseas some ricers will change their emblem to 350Z. It's purely done by owners and not by the factory or as an indication of any performance package, etc.

Great, I bought a JDM, gay car with no rims that needs some body work and a paint job in a bad way... I guess all there's left to do now is ask some sweet noob questions like... What wheels would look the best on my performance model and what color is the coolest to get it resprayed?

If you're on a tight budget, paint match as close to the original color as possible & get some Enkei or Varrstoen wheels.
