Newb Here Sayin HI
Just thought I'd say hi...I currently own a 2003 Nissan Sentra Se-R Spec V, however I am planning on purchased a Z next fall....either brand new or a year old (more likely a year old). Anyway....I am curious as to how much of a difference it makes if you have a performance over an enthusiast. I'm debating trying to find a track but I'm going to swap the suspension with JIC anyway (10kg front and 12kg rear).......also what do you guys think i'm most likely to pay on a year old enthusiast or performance with average miles on it? I plan to autox with the car which is why im' going with the 12kg rear on the JICs. I'm sure I'll have more questions but this is a start.
Thanx in advance,
Daniel

With the track you will gain the brembos and the wheels.
Note the performance for the most part IS a track, without those two options... persay you get the stability control, etc.
The enthusiast is the BEST value of the group, leaving the most open for upgrades.
Hmmm........do you guys feel that it is worth the extra cost to get the track with the brembos or could you go with something like a fastbrakes setup with wilwood calipers? I know already that the wheels aren't worth the investment b/c i could easily get a set of velox pg5s for 2 grand with tires and they're 12.5 lbs per wheel (17inch)....what about the VDC? Is the VDC really worth it? i test drove a touring and the VDC wouldn't let the rear kick out what so ever......which I thought would be great in the rain.....but does the traction control do the same thing? If so what the advantage of VDC over traction control?
Thanx,
Daniel

stoptechs are very popular, and several vendors on this site can get them to you for a very resonable price. I love the rims on my track though, and i would have to spend about $4000 to get a better performing and looking rim.
