I got my license not too long ago and I finally got my car!
Just a convertible 06
I'm only 16

My car in the front
Friends' cars next to it

Preferred not getting a convertible...but oh well .-.

Post has sorta a "ho hum" ring to it.
At 16,I'd be glad to have a CAR,any car.

How did you pay for your Z?

You are a lucky guy.

Congrats on the Z! Might've been better if you didn't post your age though

first world problems, you have them. Damn convertibles!

All i see is 3 nice cars with 3 young drivers with 3 dumb sets of parents.

16 and 300hp.........what could go wrong. Eventually parents are going to start suing car makers when their little snowflakes lose control on a wet 90 degree turn and end up as bark on a tree.

Well said...
Made the mistake, quite a few years ago,of buying my 16 yr old a Ecplise.
Because she wanted one.Found a turbo spyder.Less than 6 months later, she t-boned it around a tele pole. The car was totaled. She was lucky to come out of this with some
sore ribs.
Never again.Kids that age can't handle the HP.Much less a car pushing 300
ponies.
I WISH THIS KID WELL.

But on the other hand, if it made the news maybe it would make these parents think twice...

Hey guys, Im korean btw and no I'm a safe driver! the only reason I had to get this 350z was because I guess all in all it would've been cheaper to keep this car than to get a new one because my parents got it as a present from their grandparents for me. as for racing I would only keep it on the tracks!

I'm new to car modding and stuff so it'd be nice to meet a few people who could help out

lol really now? You're going to already be jumping to conclusions and call our parents dumb? Because we have cars at this age doesn't mean we're spoiled or anything. both my friends work hard for their car, their parents didn't buy them it. and for mine. I have to maintain a 3.5 gpa and higher and get a summer job, seriously? How old are you to try to insult a teen. Grow up seriously.

I owned my first house at 20 years old and had 3 cars at the age of 18 so, in conclusion not very impressive and paid for every dime for everything I've attained. Keep in mind no matter how big you think you are doing it, there is always some one out doing you. Stay humble, It is nice that you have a z at 16 but at the same time it is just a material item, there is a lot of other more important things in life that are more important than just a z. Also, if you don't keep progressing to better yourself other people will begin to surpass you. I got comfortable a lot of my friends have surpassed me at this point, its ok though I'm catching up really quickly financially. I guess my other point is there is no need to mention age, just say i just bought a z and enjoy it.

I agree, I have other intentions in life right now, like college, than trying to get my car super fast or something.
