Wrong wheel drive, heh. Obviously everyone thinks theyre ugly, which is why we (myself included) suggest you swap over to the standard wheels. Just opinions...if you like them then great, saves you from having to spend money on new ones.

Have you seen the standard 08 wheels though?

They do that to headlights because it looks nice, not because it looks like chrome supposedly. Speak for all 160000 members why dont you.

Welcome and congrats! Good find with those low miles. The car does look like it was well cared for. I also learned (am learning ) to drive manual with a Z. Seeing all these new owners everyday makes the days drag by..I'm buying my stepdads '08 Z (mt, pikes peak white, base model) at the end of next month and I can't wait! Anyway, enjoy the new ride!

^My headlights are OEM... so your flawed logic is flawed. The chrome wheels don't look bad at all, you can rotate them easily as they're not staggered.

The OEM chromies are not square. You cannot rotate.

Sorry Flo-ridaZ33/Josh|Swag, I've just finished re-installing my front and rear stock chromies. I had to take them off to see for myself. They are as square as square can be. My wife would never let me hear the end of it if she knew I was taking my wheels off at 12:45am on a Sunday morning.

Good job Joel… I just LOL'ed at the repeated FAIL in this thread about the optional OEM chrome wheels.

I think they look great, and like OP said… give it a few years to cycle through and folks will be all about chrome wheels again. Chasing fads is pointless, stick with whatever you like on your car and you're WINNING.

Good suggestion about the adjustable clutch option, too. Saw it at ZDayz this year and those are really trick - I'm considering getting one myself.

I can't believe what an issue my wheels have become, holy crap. But I'll keep the wheels for now. I think they look alright with the color of the car, and they work just fine. I'm more of a function over form person anyway. And I'm not sure about the wheels themselves, but the tires are staggered - 225/45R18 front, 245/45R18 rear.

the wheels may be square but the tires are staggered because you have a rwd car. rear wheels generally need bigger rear tires for grip, acceleration, and traction purposes.
