Hey guys just introducing myself. I know zero about these cars, i've had ls1 car my whole life, but i like these 350z'z and i got an unreal deal on mine. 2005, 6speed, 40,000 miles for $6,500. I was going to daily it put my gf is in love with it and begging me to do an auto swap on it so she can drive it. I'm from ST. Louis, MO. Look forward to learning alot from you guys on these cars, Thanks guys
If you make that thing an auto you might as well sign it over to her... both are HORRIBLE ideas. Keep it manual MAN-ual haha. Nah congrats man, gotta blue one myself and I love it.. good luck!!!

I'm in O'Fallon, mo. Yes a huge blues fan, i actually played with the goalie they just signed Mike McKenna. The guy i bought it from was hurting for money bad and it needs a new front bumper and was hit in the driver door slightly when i bought it(by no means was this car in perfect shape). Its at a buddy's shop getting a new bumper and the door fixed. It needs some TLC but thats the fun part. I know you guys don't want to hear it but i'm really wanting to throw an auto in this thing for her and let her buy it off me. So if any wants wants to trade an auto for my m6 let me know. Man it's a fun car though, it shocked me with how quick and fun to drive these are though. Can't wait to start modding it. Any input on mods to start with would be great. Nothing too crazy maybe intake mani, full exhaust and a small shot to make it fun.
Welcome to the forum.
Completely agree!!!
Perhaps the girly should buy her own car.
Surely you're not earning her respect by giving her a semi expensive toy.
Now for practical terms, if you swap, you're incurring extra unnecessary cost, maybe causing problems you can do without, you'll reduce your resale value especially given manual's are usually harder to find.
