Juts purchased a 2006 Z Touring automatic. I got it with 40k miles on it in perfect condition and I am in love! Is there anything I should know or look for with this car? I have never owned a sports car before but I want to be very perfect with all the upkeep.

upkeep: premium fuel, synthetic oil, wash weekly, check fluids regularly, etc..

Your gonna love the Z.
No biggies on the upkeep.Use common sense.
Oil changes etc.35lbs in the tires...wash/wax.
Don't use cheap parts.

 

I also own an 06. Since mine was made early january of 2006 it still kept some 2005 features. Therefore not all body parts that say 2006-2008 will fit it. Nissan corp is aware of this problem, and they say it's common for 06 models. Just telling you this so you dont go through the same problems I did. Other than that, enjoy the Z! You are going to love it!!
