Thumbs up My new Daytona Blue 2004 350Z!

I purchased my first 350Z on September 5th. This is my first post. Being this is my first sports car, I have a considerable amount of questions to ask.

To start, the car is Daytona Blue, has 70,000 miles, and runs flawlessly. Supposedly a mechanic traded it in. The title is clear and the past 4 years the car has only had 8,000 miles drove on it.

I've read the manual. Are there any sticky threads you guys would recommend reading?

2004 Automatic. I'm in the process of going through the top 100 FAQ's. I live in Arkansas. I grew up in boat manufacturing, so this is my crash course in learning the mechanical side of things.

The community support on the site is a huge plus to the purchase!

Not a fan of your wheels. What size tires are you running?
The rears look especially weird.

I'm not sure. I'll take a look. I'm in the process of figuring it all out.

Front and rear have the same set on them. Tires are 245/35RZ19 Hancooks. Rims are 19" Lorenzo's.

IMO,this is what I would do to salvage what you have bought:
=keep the 245/35 tires on the front.Thats the correct size for 19's.
=get 275/35 tires for the rear. That will be the correct size.
=can't tell exactly from your pic, looks like you have a 20+offset?
=the 275 tires should fit on your wheels. They really need to be staggered.
But I'm thinking if they are not,the wheel width all around is 8".the 275
should squeeze on a 8" width.
=the wheels are awful. However,if you keep, paint e'm all black or,spray the spokes a gunmetal. It will make e'm look less cheesy.
=you can keep the 245's you took off as replacements.

Seriously, those rear wheels look like your compact spare!

Dude, may be just the pic...but that intake filter looks pretty dirty.
Needs to be cleaned and re-oiled or,possible replaced.
Just pull it off and check it out.

I have a cleaning kit at the house I purchased Saturday. I just need to find some time to let it sit.

That SRI looks like it would be somewhat inefficient due to heat soak. small heat shield around it compared to other SRIs
