Going to look at a used 2003 350Z touring coupe. Did an Auto check on it and it comes up clean. Has 48,000 orginal miles had 3 owners 2 of whom put 20,000 miles each on it and the third and last owner put 8,000 miles on it in the last 4 years. The dealership is asking $13,889.00 for it Kelly Blue Book says it worth 16K. This dealership specializes in all exotics they say they took it in on a trade in. Kelly Blue Book says the trade in value is $12,359.00

I know these cars hold their value and I really want it, do you think I would be foolish to try to negoiate and try to get it for $13250- $13500.00?

I'd offer $13k flat and then just wait for them to call you back.

 

Thanks for the input. I was just wondering do these cars usually command what the dealerships ask for them because of their popularity? Although my negoiating point is the car is also 9 years old but it looks to be in exellent condition and hasn't been driven hard. My thought was the same a yours offer 13 grand flat. Thanks once again.
