Default My new baby!

Hey guys got my Z about a month ago...idk why im just posting this now haha but its a 2005 6MT enthusiast with leather 66k on odo.

Ill post more pics later it's just all the ones i have are very high quality.

Im looking for an exhaust setup asap, even though stock sounds awesome.
I want something nice and loud, im not worried about cops but i want something loud with no rasp if possible. any suggestions guys?

Welcome and congrats. Loud and no rasp=single exhaust but keep stock cats. You'll love it.

Whats your budget on the exhaust?
Trash the grille on your car.

power gain, single over dual? if its a true dual with x pipe, shouldnt you get better flow(as long as both are free flowing) creating more power?

i love the injen SES but i heard it was discontinued? :S if i didnt have to daily mine, id look for one. im thinking about the invidia gemini in the spring since i can get it for about 1100 cash but that doesnt seem anything like what you are looking for since it seems to be only a little louder than stock

congrats on the buy, i only just picked mine up last tuesday

The flow part is true, but the weight of the single compared to the dual is a bigg difference. congrats bro! what color did you get?

the weight can be quite significant with certain systems, but the stock muffler, i can tell just by looking at it on the hoist, is quite a heavy piece which you will be getting rid of. so am willing to bet that most true duals are about the same weight, if not lighter than the stock. plus if you add in some test pipes/hfc's and some headers or some long tubes, youll definitely benefit from the extra flow

thanks! i got a black 2005 35th anniversary, pic on the thread titles "new kid on the block"

thanks! i actually lucked out on it since up here all trim levels go for about the same money. it was a bit of a headache buying it and a bit of a story, but it was a HUGE rush buy that i kind of jumped on and im more than happy with it.

Just curious...You say it's the Enthusiast with leather? I guess the previous owner put in aftermarket. How's it look?
