Default Hi all...I'm a new owner of '05 Anniversary edition

Hi again
I'm a new owner of an '05 Anniversary edition z
I was wondering if anyone else had an issue with the fit of the drivers seat...
After driving it a short while, I felt fery uncomfortable on my right hip and leg because it seems to be too tight there....if the seat were shifted to the right 1 or 2 inches it would'nt be a problem. But thats not possible...I have the electric controls there too...which makes it very hard
Does anyone out there know of any adjustments or fixes I can apply...??
and does anyone have the same issue..??
Thanks for any replys
Cheers

Welcome!
I've found the seats in my Z to be comfortable.
How tall are you? Also, are you onthe "heavy" size?
The Z is a sportscar. The seats are designed to mold
to the driver.

if you think those are uncomfortable try sitting a fixed back racing bucket seat.

That's easy all you gotta do is tighten the nut behind the steering wheel and your done!

nope, I'm not fat...and I do have the electronic seat controls on that side...I can push down on the right side of the seat, but it will spring back.Strange that nobody has the same issue, because its made driving my 350z a real issue...??

I am 5 11 and 230, short legs, big body. Zero issues, cannot say the same for the new Malibu rental I was in 2 months ago. I felt like my head was being pushed forward by the "contoured" seat. Maybe long legs are the problem? I wish the steering wheel telescoped.

CongratZ on the new to you Z.

The driving position is considerably different than my Murano in that, in the Z, my legs are sticking almost straight out. Driving long distances can make me uncomfortable but it gives a good reason to get out and stretch.

I'm confident you'll get used to it.

Hi there
Im not sure how if I "tighten the nut behind the steering wheel" will fix the issue of the right side of the seat, would help..?
In my z version, I have the seat adjustment controls...on that right side...which seems to be the issue
Thats why I was hoping that there was an adjustment I could make...any adjustment..
Cheers

I think you are the nut behind the wheel in that reference.

Welcome to the forum. Keep adjusting the seat. You'll probably find that will sort things out.
