Default New 03 Z

Greetings all. Just became a new 350z owner. 03 touring, silverstone, frost leather, 26k miles, production #13,456. Window tinting asap. Might plasti-dip the stock wheels black, untill I buy new tires/wheels.

Welcome and congrats!

My advice, don't plasti-dip the wheels. You'll get flamed for it pretty quickly. Your Z looks clean as it is. Just wait until you get your new wheels and save that $10. That's my

I don't think you have Silverstone. I appears too light in color for it to be gray. It should be Chrome Silver. Check out this thread on Chrome Silver Zs for mod ideas.

Enjoy and keep her clean!

I think you're probably right on both points. I pick it up by this weekend so I can't prove you right either way. Thanks for the link.

+1 on keeping the wheels stock. It's such a clean car already, and with such low miles! I haven't seen any frost seats in such great shape - mine are itching for a rewrap definitely. I'm a huge fan of stock Z's, but I realize I'm in the minority here. Enjoy the car!

You and me both. Although I don't mind subtle mods to the point where it still looks stock for the most part.

Welcome!
As also a owner of a 03 Touring, its interesting to see a car in pure
stock form.Mine has changed quite a bit.
Please don't do the Plastidip wheels! You will cheapen the look of
this beautiful low mileage car.If you want to mod your OEM wheels,
suggest you look a the DupliColor shadow kit.It will make your stock
wheels a hyper-black.Spray on more coats to make them a updated
GTR shade! You can find this kit at most auto parts stores.

Picked the car up Thursday. Drove 2 solid days to Austin. Loving the car. Decided to keep it stock for a long while. I like the wheels in person, more than I thought I would. Today, I have to wash off the 1 billion bugs I hit on the way. I verified the color code under the hood, it is chrome silver.

Usually I am a low mileage driver. I think it's going to be real tough with this one though. Just got it fresh window tint.
