Default New Z Owner! Picked up a 2003 Perf.

2003 Sunset Orange 350Z Performance

Already has some things done to it. What was attractive to me is that the only performance mod done was the exhaust and intake, and it was put on 2 months ago.

Love it so far! The only thing I need to figure out is how to get rid of this strange rear end hop/shake when hitting uneven pavement on the highway.

Except for that hideous grill, you need to ditch that...Other than that not bad.

It has 137,000 miles and the ad shows it has lowering springs but doesn't mention new shocks. So I would imagine your shocks needs replaced. Looks like he put no namer brake rotors on there as well, brakes are not something to cheap out on. I would keep an eye on those rotors.

Looks great, especially for that mileage.

The color is Lemans Sunset.

Thanks guys, I said the same thing about the grille! ;-)
I asked him if he had the stocker but no luck. Brakes feel great right now, they look like the same style ebay rotors I put on my Cobalt years back, 60k miles later they're still stopping great on the Cobalt but she's a much slimmer girl..

I'll check into the shocks, haven't lifted her up yet. It comes back fine after bumps the problem is when you wobble the wheel back and forth the *** end seems to continue to sway back and forth a couple times when you set the wheel straight again. Very strange. Feels like the body is bouncing back and forth on the rear sub frame. When I get up underneath I'll be checking sub frame bushings for sure. It's a lateral bounce, not a vertical bounce.

Injen intake, Magnaflow 2.5" exhaust, stock header and DP (had a few different ones, still liked the low end grunt and sound of the stock,) 2.8" pulley, 60# injectors, OTTP Stage 1 tune, front mount air to water heat exchanger, meth injection, megan coilovers, solid CABs, MRZ strut brace, rear sway, moved to wider 225's on stock wheels, B&M short throw, AEM wideband, Interceptor gauge, liberated it from that terrible stock wing, OTTP tranny mounts, GM Upgraded clutch (same material and flywheel, stronger springs), newer style throw out bearing.

Needs front sway bushings, nothing else!
Why, wanna buy it? lol

****, forgot... steering rack spacers too, that's to prevent bump steer when lowered, made all the difference in the world! I'm sure more will keep coming to me, had it for 6 years and I just forget what's done to it sometimes.
