Default Checking in... newb alert

Newb checking in..

A good friend of mine was changing up his cars. I helped him source the car a few years back. Anyway... long story short... It's now mine. Woot!

Started cleaning it up today.... . A few tune-up items (OE plugs, pvc, vac lines, oil, and some east-coast fuel. 93... And it's running.

Just came off the transport

Fresh wash

It's got some stuff done to her... I'll add just a little more, but this is a drivers car. I don't want to go tooo far with it.

Some of the mods:
Stillen front, sides and rear
Borla headers, hi-flow cats, true dual exhaust.
Act clutch
short shifter (B&M)
sway bars ... not sure what flavor, there red.
Springs and sturts
intake (not sure of brand)
19" Axis something-or-other, rubber ok
Alpine Nav, 10" JL, yellow top, bluetooth, etc
I'm sure I missing a few things....

Going to clean it up a tad more and just drive it for now.

Needs a few small things. One that seems hard to source is that little clip on the back rear cubby, seems that little tab on the door snapped. I'm on the lookout.

Fun car indeed.

Clean Z with a unique color. Or is it Daytona Blue, with the lighting changing it slightly?

Thanks all....

It's a factory Daytona Blue. Camera phone, morning fog and the SVT Lighting throw off the colors a bit.

Not Trac.. Does have an LSD and cruse thu.

Nice day to get out the buckets. Woot

Add color matched door handles and a shorty antenna to the list.

Very nice find

05 EVO..
~550AWHP. HTA35R, Kelford cams, head worked, Stance coils, Full Race manifold, open source tuning, full weight, very low miles, A/C all trim intact. It's extensive mod list. Drives like a normal car, till you tip in. It does ~30psi on pump. Have not had time to tune a race gas map... actually is really does not need one...for the street. Top of 3rd and the star-specs start loosing traction.

Can be yours...

Very nice Z and good taste in cars

Those are not Stillen exterior aero parts though, most likely they were all sourced from MSA (Motorsport Auto aka The Z Store):

Nice cars, nice colors, blue's probably my favorite color, although white Z's are sexy as all hell too.
Hope you enjoy the Z. Great car. I've been looking at that front bumper as well, I dont think its a stillen though, ive seen it at 2 places and neither were stillen. But the car looks great, keep us posted if you decide to do more to it, and welcome to the site!

You are correct... NICE! learning something new daily. I do like the kit. Thinking about some spoiler, but nothing very dramatic.... not sure here.

Few more clean up items left. Got the clay out (came out great) and want to do a little finish work.

Thanks all for the kind words. I am sure I will have questions.

Things on the list... RJM kit, rear cubby clip(if they exist), maybe some lightning, and... who knows.
