picked up my dream car last week
Hello everyone. Last week I got my dream car that I test Drove in 2003 and now own. 2003 350z Touring 6MT with peanut butter leather, navigation and the bose system(which I think is perfect, def the best stock system I ever owned) 64000 miles. I am currently looking to do just a few mods intake, exhaust, tune, then basically styling. I picked up a nismo intake for 80$ off craigslist just tryna find a nismo filter, which is hard to find. If anyone knows a place I would appreciate it. I love this car though, especially going sideways on exit ramps lol. I had an 06 G35 i took over from my friend before this but it was automatic and I didnt like it So I got my money back and picked this up.. I've had a 90 300zx and a 90 TT Z, but I think this a way better. This car is stock and I get so many compliments on it and oldtimers telling me the stories of their old Z's. Not to mention it's a def chick magnet. I see alot of other 350's and we all just nod to eachother. It's nice to be a part of a great group of owners. Hope to get to know alot of you and get/give help when I can.
Congrats on getting your dream and welcome to the family!
On locating a Nismo filter, you will find that Nismo stuff is actually made
by other companies.Basically, contracted out. There is no Nismo factory lol.
There are Nismo filters available. But look for a AEM filter since AEM makes
the Nismo intake. They are both the same.Another example is the Nismo
S-Tune catback.Its a Fujitsubu.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase. I'm pretty sure there is still a group of Z owners that meet up once a week out in long island/queens. Check the north east regional section for the thread. You could meet up with some of the local Z owners.
The 350Z is better then the 300ZX. If that wasn't the case then my weekend car would be a 300ZX and the car I am looking for as a cheap project beater would be a 350Z.

Most cars with enough money will beat another and I can confirm 300ZX's aren't cheap projects but they certainly beat 350's as far as performance but I better stop before a mod censors me for breaking the rules.
