Default My New Z

Hey everybody!

I' picked up a CPO 09 350z convertible a week ago today. It's stock, 28k miles, A/T.

I traded in my first car, a 95 300zx 2+2 for it, and while I miss my old Z, this new one is just in a whole nother league.

I kept my Z32 running as long as I could, and tried to upgrade it along the way, but there came a point where it was just irresponsible to keep pumping money into it. And after driving a few other cars I just couldn't be without a Z, so I picked up this beauty, who I now call Exotic Dancer.

As nice as this car is, I do miss the character my 300zx had, so I'm going to start saving up for a few mods to personalize my roadster. I'm looking at Avante Garde M310 matte black wheels, window tint, and possibly a new exhaust system (as I miss the loudness of my after market JIC exhaust on my old car).

And before any flames me:
I am19 and my parents are helping me out with the car. BUT I had to put money down, trade in my old car (which I paid for and maintained myself) and have to make half of the payments.
I have also read all of the intro posts and know to search for things before posting, so don't bother repeating that. I am also a member on Nicoclub, Twinturbo.net, and CTZCC. I know forum etiquette so you could put the pitchforks away.

Here's my old Z before I traded her in:

And Exotic Dancer:

Now how could anyone flame you based on your age if you never decided to make it a talking point? I will never understand why people do that. Clearly they know that age brings flames, so they make sure to bring it up and then say "don't mention it", it's like they want it to become an issue. Ugh.....

Anyway, congrats on the new ride. Enjoy!

Sorry to hear about the transmission though.

+1 Thought the same. Why all the young bloods feel they have to state their age and how they got it?

Anyways, congrats on the new vert. Very clean! Remember, less is always more, so keep it clean on the mods! Yourself and us Z guys will appreciate it much better!

+1 on the mods. It's actually retains much more value, is more reliable and easier to enjoy without all the silly mods.

First '09 'vert I've seen. I have an '06 Touring 6MT and love it. You'll enjoy this one...
