Afghanistan bought me my Z.
Not at all terribly worded. I trained for Jungle Environments in the 80s with Army, and learned a ton from them. Then served along side in Desert Storm, and it was always a good experience. I hope serving with my brethren was as good to you.
Nice car and welcome first of all. Secondly thanks for serving. Branch is not important, it's servicing and volunteering not drafted is a big plus. Third modding is fun. I've been doing the same since I bought mine. Also I was in back a ways like the other Viet Vet I do believe mentioned, and I got my first 260Z and my buddy got a 240Z. That was it, and next a 280Z and then a 350Z. Also I spent time on ships, at air bases, worked with Navy, Army, and loved every minute of it and would do it again. Spent 13 yrs overseas out of 22 and don't regret it a bit. First time is saw a Fairlady in Okinawa, Japan I was sold and knew the Z was the car I wanted. USMC Retired and all branches are comrades in arms. (Might also add the extra income is nice too after I retired and took a new government job, this time as a GS) and retiring again in a few. LOL

Maybe take it to the base hobby shop and see if they can give you a hand with it.

I'd love to have a 370 to sit beside it, but I guess that'll have to wait :P
Thanks dude. Doing the best I can. Hard to hide from IDF though haha. its funny though, IDF warning goes off, Air Force guys hide in the bunker, rest of us go to the roof to see if we can see it haha. Not to bag on air force, just think its funny.
We didn't have much IDF trouble where I was but our base couldn't go a month without VBIEDs hitting the gates
Ya those ****ers are crazy. No way i'd blow myself up for 42 virgins. like Walter says "Give me 42 slutty broads who know what the hell they're doing!" haha. But ya its nuts. And now is Ramadan so all kinds of extra force-pros we have to abide by. Crazy stuff.
it was so much better once it was over
When I was looking for mine, I wasn't too picky at all about the color (I just wanted a Z!) But i'm kind of regretting the black because of how hard it is to keep clean haha.
What part of aviation? I'm a 15's crew chief, Air Force of course. Go ahead and laugh it up. haha.
