Default Finally got me a Z!

well...im 26 and ive wanted a 350 ever since 2002 when i first started pictures of them popping up on tv and other ads. ive been in and out of hondas(37 of them to be exact, to include a jdm eg6 sir and a jdm dc2 integra type r) and mustangs ( 4 of those, one of which being a 638whp fox body) and 7 s-chassis( all s13's and all hatches. most noteable was a no bs 180sx type x) but ive neve had a z. i just always thought they were out of reach financially. well i had a 2006 sentra ser spec v and a 91 integra and was just kind of browsing though the nissan dealer and spotted a black 08 nismo z. i drove it, noticed it had 112k miles and wasnt in mint condition by any means(i did love the black and red interior though). i couldnt justify paying the 26k they wanted for the car. i asked if they had any other ones and the older salesman i was with said no unfortunately. well, i started heading to the ol spec v somewhat let down until i saw someone admiring the wheels on the spec. we sat and bss'd for a few and i had mentioned i was looking for a z and he immediately started telling me the nismo was way over priced. he then told me to follow him because they had just(a couple hours prior) received one in on trade. already had wheels and a couple other doo-dads done to it. so i walked up and immediately fell in love with it. the color alone damn near had me sold. then he told me it only had 30k miles on it. then (which i so should have noticed at first) i saw it had some custom painted 19" volk GTS's on it. it was getting better and better. interior was stupid clean to include nismo floor mats. already had the dual scoops on the front bumper and nismo exhaust. well enough blah blah blah. i ended up getting it for only 14k with a 3yr 36k mile warranty on it. and i got a ton for trade on both my cars. i couldnt turn it down...but heres the good stuff everyones been waiting for...

Heres the spec v i traded in...in case what anyone was wondering when i said he was admiring my wheels. yes theyre real work vs-xx's and yes theyre factory 4x114.3. fitting 17x9.5 +12/ 17x10 +15 was quite the task

Wow what a steal. Good job man. First thing you should do is some coilovers or lowering springs! Lol. What part of NC are you from?

Good pickup. Wheels look good but that gap is ugly. Grab some coilovers and get that horrid badge off that fat *** and it'll be golden.

Should've told the dealer to take the badge off themselves or no deal.

I can only imagine the GTR's out there that have been dealer badged. If I'm spending five figures plus on your lot, I'm not paying to be your billboard.

Lol. True.and the dealer badge is gone.pictures will be uploaded in the am.and far me having that many cars i seem to have a bad habit of getting them and only having them for a few weeks.there have been a select few cases where i kept them for longer but most of the Honda's i just get bored with. And the s chassis i slide them until i don't like them anymore and then i get rid of them lol....It's a vicious cycle

i just dont know if it will hurt the value that they have been custom painted over. i have no clue what the original finish on them were. i havent had them off yet either so i dont know if the tag on them says the original finish.

Look up Volk GTS Phantom Edition. I'm pretty sure those are original Volks. If there's no "Volk" or "Rays" stickers on the barrels as well as 19x9.5/10.5 then check the back of the spokes for them to be stamped.
