hey guys new owner/noob question
So I bought a 03 Z with 63k recently I absolutely love it but from the start its been blowing some oil smoke (more so the left side) and I was wondering what it could be... the car dealership tells me its from the aftermarket cold air intake without a tune (which is a crock
of ****) but I often smell some burning oil and was wondering how to go about fixing this problem

so not sure why it's only coming out of left side because an OEM exhaust channels into 1 pipe to the muffler than has a dual output…
not sure what a tune has to do with burning oil…if you can hold them responsible for the burning oil you should (I.E. take the car back)
if your 100% sure it's burning oil, dark blue-ish in color, than you have bad seals…burning oil really wasnt a issues on the earlier DE engines (like like it was on the rev up)…With 63k miles on the car this might suggest your engine has been run hard/abused.

get them to fix it because they sold it to me while its burning oil?

Erik, if I were in your shoes I would find a trust-worthy local mechanic to give you a honest assessment - it's difficult to diagnose a problem over a internet forum. Ask the mechanic what it'd take to fix the burning oil problem and what the value of the car is as of right now. Take what the mechanic says back to the dealership to renegotiate the price of the car all things considered. If they won't work with you on price then return the car.
I am just speculating here but they are going to tell you that you are stuck with the car…so be prepared to return the car...

Did you not notice the oil smoke when you were test driving the car? Did you have the car inspected by a mechanic prior to purchase? I am assuming the smoke was probably visible at the time of purchase and it should have been noticed by someone. Thinking you may have a difficult time returning the car.
