New Member, no Z yet, question first.
Hello all, I'm from New England, have always loved the Z, love the 300zx, and finally am thinking of picking up a used one.
Back in 2004, when I was awaiting delivery of my 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5SE, my salesman stopped by my work to give me a ride in a bright blue 350z. I remember being a little uncomfortable, plus he was beating the **** out of it (feel bad for whoever bought that Z!), so that wasn't a great experience to rate how comfortable I'd be in a Z.
I'm 6'4'', and want to know how the taller owners on here feel about the interior.
Thanks.

My brother is a muscular 6' 6" and he can barely drive my car simply because the seats just don't go back far enough for him.
To put it into perspective, regular airline seats are nearly impossible for him, so he flies first class, bulkhead, exit row, or not at all.
It would be a close fit for you.

I'd say it depends on your body type...some folks are "taller" in the legs and some are "taller" in the trunk of their body.
I can tell you that "Mad" Mike Taylor out of Texas was involved as a consultant with the design of the 350Z and he advised Nissan to make the car fit someone his size. I'd say mad Mike is 6'4".

6'5" & slender here. I have a little over an inch of head room & fit comfortable in my 350Z. If you do a track day, your helmet might hit the headliner. Are you picking up a 300ZX though? I'm confused.
The 300ZX has a lot of room too. My friend had one with T-tops though, so I don't remember if I had a lot or not because we always rolled with the tops off.
