well i can finally join this forum with an 350z of my own, it sounds chessy but i always wanted one since i saw it on fast and furious, i worked my *** off for a couple years and traded in my honda civic for this car, im currently 20yrs old and brought this car with my own money but currently going down hill with this car... couple tickets and hydro planed into a rail not to bad of damages tho... anyways here its my ride =D

its an 04 model, brought it at 58k miles, had an accident on the right bumper nothing major, the car was 13.5k, traded my civic for 10k and paid 3.5k.

sorry to hear about your accident, coming from a FWD Civic, gotta beware that snap oversteer that can happen on a powerful RWD car.

I just got mine about 6 weeks ago, also came from a civic.

I take it you have a base model Z? Check your rear tires for tread if you haven't already. I spun 3 times on a busy SoCal freeway in the rain and got SOOOO lucky I didn't hit/get hit. New tires and alignment as well as SLOWING DOWN will keep her outta another accident!

haha yea, i wasnt very aware of the rear drive in the rain, and the moment i lost control i pressed the breaks like a noobie so that made it worse, i filed a claim on insurance so going to get brand new front and rear bumpers along with one new wheel lol... hit the rail about 20 mph, the car held up extremely well.

 

I love the Daytona Blue, its my favourite color, I searched for ages before I found one that was tidy and had all of its service history etc. etc. I don't regret for a minute buying it, I just hope you have as much joy with yours as I've had with mine.
