New Owner
Good Day Everyone.
I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. I am obviously a new member here as well as a new 350z owner.
After spending the last several years driving, modding, and autocrossing an RX8 I have made my way here. I had nothing but great experiences with my 8, that is until I was rear ended at highway speeds by some dumb f**k 2 weeks ago. My beloved RX8 was destroyed. Luckly no one was severely hurt. I was 100% the victim in this situation so insurance was decent to deal with.
Anyhow, this is where the 350z comes in. I decided it was time for a change. I have always liked the 350z, so after getting the green light from my wife I started looking for one. After looking at a bunch of 06, 07, and 08's I can!e across an 03. I almost dismissed it at first. After reading up on it, and talking to the seller I was very interested.
Turns out that the car belonged too the currant owners deceased Husband. They purchased the car New in 2003. Drove it for 2 years 25,000 KM (Yes kilomback, as I am Canadian), when her husband passed away. She has only put another 8,000km on since. Anyhow we decided to finally sell the car. 2003 Nissan 350z with 34,000km. I think it's the GT. It's the fully loaded version with leahter , nav, heated seats, Bose, etc.She also Just had brand new tires, brakes, oil, belts, battery, etc. Done last week. I have her receipts.
I am going to be installing the Motordyne plenum spacer, Invidia test pipes, R2C Intake, and Invidia N1 cat back in the next couple weeks. I have a lot of other plans for the Z, but they will be in the spring when it is warmer.
Anyhow I hope the Z is as much (or more) fun and reliable as my RX8 was.
Thanks for reading...

Welcome!
Great find on the Z.
Sad pics of your RX8 - I've always wanted to drive one of those to see if they lived up to the "perfect balanced" hype I've read so much about. Glad you weren't hurt thought - it's alot easier to repair or replace a car, than a body.

The RX-8 was a blast to drive. The 9k redline, the way they hug the corners, and how smooth they are. They only downside was the torque ( or lack there of). Of you ever get a chance to drive one on a road course or mountain road jump on it :-).
Among the mods I had on the 8 was a 55 shot of Nitrous. That help out a lot. I am thinking about installing my Zex kit on the Z. I read we can run a 100 wet shot with out tuning.
I will have the Z tuned but want to do a bunch of bolt ons before that happens.
